Full Spectrum Doula Support
The whole journey. One trusted presence.
Most doula support begins at pregnancy and ends around six weeks postpartum. That window, as valuable as it is, captures only a fraction of the transformation a woman moves through when she becomes a mother.
Full spectrum doula support at The Line Between is built around a different understanding entirely.
Matrescence, the profound transformation of becoming a mother, begins long before birth. It begins in the season of pre-conception, in the first stirrings of longing and preparation, in the decision to try. It continues through pregnancy, through birth, through the raw vulnerability of the postpartum weeks and months. And it does not end at any neat marker. It is an ongoing, living process of becoming.
Full spectrum support holds all of it. From the very beginning through to the deep integration of who you are on the other side.
What this looks like in practice
Full spectrum support is not a package with fixed inclusions. It is a living accompaniment, shaped entirely around you, your journey and what each season asks for.
It begins with a Preparation Clarity Call, a free, unhurried conversation where we get to know each other and begin to understand whether this is the right support for you. If it is, we build from there.
Across the pre-conception season we meet regularly to prepare, emotionally, physically and somatically, for the journey ahead. We explore what your body needs, what you are carrying into this transition, what you hope for and what you fear. Acupressure therapy is often woven through this season to support hormonal balance, nervous system regulation and deeper embodiment.
Through pregnancy we continue to meet, building the kind of trust and familiarity that means when labour begins, you already feel held. We explore birth preparation that goes beyond the practical. We work with the emotional and psychological dimensions of approaching birth. We prepare your nervous system as much as your body.
When labour begins I am with you. Continuously. Uninterrupted. Present for everything, comfort measures, positional guidance, breathwork, acupressure, advocacy, emotional support for you and your partner. I stay until you are steady.
And then the postnatal season, the one that so often falls away. I remain present for as long as you need. Not just for the newborn. For you. For the identity shift, the physical recovery, the emotional complexity, the gradual integration of who you are becoming.
Who this is for
Full spectrum support is for the woman who understands that what she is moving through is bigger than a birth event. Who wants one person who knows her whole story, not a series of separate practitioners at separate stages who each see only a fragment.
It is for the woman who wants to be known. Who wants continuity. Who wants someone who was there at the beginning still beside her at the end.
It is also for the woman who is not yet sure what she needs, who simply feels called to be supported through this journey in a way that honours its full depth.
If that is you, begin with a Clarity Call. We will take it from there, at whatever pace feels right.
What is included
Because full spectrum support is shaped around each woman individually, the inclusions vary. As a foundation, this support encompasses regular pre-conception meetings and acupressure therapy sessions where relevant, continuous doula support through pregnancy including birth planning and emotional preparation, uninterrupted birth support from the onset of labour through to the immediate postnatal period, regular postnatal visits across the weeks and months following birth, acupressure therapy woven through pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and ongoing availability by phone and message throughout the journey.
Pricing is discussed during the Clarity Call and is tailored to your individual journey and timeline.

A note from Sabah
This is the offering I am most passionate about.
Not because it is the most comprehensive but because it is the most true to what I believe birth and becoming a mother actually asks for. A woman moving through matrescence deserves to be held by someone who has been with her since the beginning. Who knows her fears and her history. Who does not need to be caught up to speed when labour begins at 2am.
That kind of continuity changes everything. Not just the birth. The whole experience of becoming.
If this speaks to you,I would love to hear from you.
