Between Breath & Becoming
the sacred language of pregnancy & postnatal touch
A time of great change calls for deeper care.
Pregnancy and the months that follow are powerful, transformative, and often overwhelming. Your body is doing extraordinary work — growing, birthing, feeding, and holding — and it deserves to be cared for with gentleness, presence, and intention.
Massage during this time isn’t a luxury. It’s a way to reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, ease physical tension, and make space for rest and release. It’s also a way of being witnessed — of having someone attuned to your needs in a moment when so much of your focus is on others.
Each pregnancy is unique, and so is every session.
I offer nurturing, intuitive massage that supports your changing body through each trimester — helping to relieve common discomforts such as:
-
Lower back pain
-
Pelvic pressure
-
Hip tightness
-
Difficulty sleeping
-
Emotional overwhelm or anxiety
Positioning is adjusted to keep you fully supported and safe, using side-lying or semi-reclined bolsters as your body requires. My focus is always on helping you feel held, grounded, and deeply nourished.
Massage during pregnancy is also a beautiful way to connect inward — to pause and listen to your own rhythms, sensations, and inner wisdom as you prepare to give birth.
After birth, everything changes — in your body, your hormones, your nervous system, your identity.
Massage in the postnatal period offers a space to rest, integrate, and be cared for, when much of the world is asking you to give.
Sessions can help:
-
Ease tension in shoulders, neck, and back (especially from feeding or carrying)
-
Support abdominal healing
-
Rebalance the nervous system
-
Offer quiet time for emotional release or reflection
-
Gently reconnect you with your body in its new form
Whether you gave birth weeks or months ago, postnatal massage can be a powerful invitation to come back to yourself — slowly, softly, with no expectations.
